This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Depending on the date, I'd join in. My girls always want to join me and this would be a great way to get them fishing early this year.

I'm interested too -- don't have much in terms of really heavy rod, but i can pick up some circle hooks before the day comes.

dont worry..dont need mutch over there.

i have been using my shimano rod 9 ffot long that cost 29$ then and still those the job well over there.

just a longer rod will get you a bit farther away. that is it.

shrimps is ok or chiken liver in garlic or any smelly baits.

Sounds like a great chance to get out and meet some new faces and talk about the upcoming season. I'll keep my eye on this thread for the date.

Hey guys,
this sounds like a good time. I've been meaning to meet more fish-hawkers, this seems like a good opportunity. How is that spot for snags? Would a pickerel rig with say 2oz of bell sinkers do, or am I better off with something a little less prone to snagging?
Hope to see everyone there.
