Seriously though....

Working in a hunting/fishing store I can imagine you are going to hear and see a ton of troubling things.

If people who wantonly kill animals offends you...work for PETA...not LB's.

Cuz eventhough its wrong, it'll happen.

On a Serious note...

That would be the equilvilant of 24/7 and I going in the store and asking for some Big BuzzBaits or whatever.....and telling the salesperson...were going for Monster Bass...are we breally going to catch some M //

On a Serious note...

That would be the equivalent of 24/7 and I going in the store and asking for some Big BuzzBaits or whatever.....and telling the salesperson...were going to catch some '' Monster Bass ''...are we really going to catch some MONSTER BASS....Probably not... :wink:

Well the intent of this thread was to inform people of what I had experienced. I got a few people who said they think I should contact MNR. I had a few said sit on the fence and let it pass because your not 100% certain of the facts. Then we had a few that replied with criticism & judgment. They replied with comments that would most likely be mentioned on a public message board!
Thats what frustrates me about some users on this site, is the fact they will make comments or pass judgment simply over the net and wouldn't dare make the same comment in person...
Now if some person I dont know (bass addict) came to me in person and said what he said in one of his replies on this board(the one regarding the word nasty) I would of told him to his face where to shove it!!!! Thats why I got heated!
I think its sad that we find ways to mislead ourselves from an important topic such as illegal spearing or legal spearing. Then find ways to judge or criticize those who tell the story! Its funny how when theres something of concern on this board thats what usually happens!

Bottom line is I didnt like the judgment & criticism and I would of said the exact same thing face to face! And thats why my post was direct. Anyways like i said im done with this thread! I got bigger and better things to worry about!

What's with 2 separate references to Quebec license plates in your thread? Is there a problem with people from Quebec shopping in an Ontario located store owned by a company whose headquarters is in Quebec?

Maybe you could have told them on the phone that you didn't stock spear heads. It wouldn't be the first time the store didn't have something in stock.
