2d victoria report call.WHAT THIS SPECIES...?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The one guy you missed is Gr8-Scott... He's the one who caught the first 2 walleye.

I had a blast! Too bad my daughter couldn't keep her line in the water (not from catching fish). She'll learn! She was thrilled and talked about touching worms during the whole ride home!

See you again next time (next week, I hope)!

Thanks so much for organizing these outings. I had a great time and finally got to meet some more fellow F-Hers.

Cheers and until next time!

BA's fish certainly looks like White Bass, from the links Curls gave us... Both sites state that this it is native to the Great Lakes... Would it be an invasive species in the Ottawa?

Joco... That's why I'm wondering if it could be considered an invasive species if it IS white bass... maybe someone dumped a minnow bucket, and this thing survived! ...at least it's not Asian carp!

Looks maybe like a hybrid of a striped / white bass.
