Kemptville Creek for Pike Opener?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Kemptville Creek for Pike Opener?

Post by Mr.J. »

Looking for an opening weekend spot to hit and thought the Kemptville Creek has possibilities.

Anyone ever do early spring pike in there?

Not looking for hot spots just feedback if it produces or not.

Got some new Mr.J.Specials I need to wash.

Well J, it's safe to say judging by the lack of responses, that the creek is not a favorite or folks just don't fish it. I'm sure if you fish between both bridges you should have plenty excitement. With the current water levels and early spring we've had, those Pike should be near markers and turns in the ditch.
If Winnipeg gets a hockey team, Toronto will want one too.....

have only caught bass and panfish in the creek, but I'm usually with the kids. Last summer I saw a very large pike cruising the pads right in town, by the parking lot of the gym. good luck and post on your success, some of us will certainly appreciate it!
