 albeit tainted because it is obviously OOS.  Brought it in as fast as my 65lbs test line and heavy action rod would let me, the scale was being prepared while I was still fighting the fish.  The hook was out, the fish weighed and released in a matter of a few seconds.

As if that wasn't enough, as we're jigging up some walleye near Rockland, we see something travelling against the current just upstream from us. It's almost time to go, so we pack and go investigate, and would you believe a MOOSE is swimming in the middle of the Ottawa River maybe 1/2 mile downstream from the boat launch.
The pike fishing was great, we got about a dozen in an hour, had a few misses too. The walleye not so great, we got 2 (16" and 13") within the first 1/2 hour then nothing but a little sauger and perch until the moose sighting.
