Fishing Friday - New Spot?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing Friday - New Spot?

Post by Scaini33 »

Hey guys,

Me and a buddy are gonna head out tomorrow for some good pike and eye fishing. I wanna try a new spot, preferably a smaller lake with somewhat easy access. I have only fished a few of the lakes around such as Calabogie, Constance, Mississippi, and the Rideau river.

Any Suggestions?

Try the Ottawa River East then.
Or go west on hwy 7 and hit any of the lakes west of Perth.

Not bad for Pike...but not great, the MNR stocks it with Lakers...only fished it a few times and got many hammer handles...mostly went later in the summer and targeted Bass....400th post 8)
Wishing I was fishing
