Very nice fish indeed.
It didn't have a spinnerbait in its jaw when you caught it did it?
I had a fish like that on a week before opener and it broke off but with the season not open yet I was grateful for that....
It was a black and orange crappie spinnerbait... yes a small one I wasn't targeting big fish... and look how shallow that is it looks like the same spot.
Congrats though on the nice catch. You will get yours soon enough .. keep casting.

niciely done! beauty fish! the old figure 8 pays off...i actually hit one with my rod while figure 8'n on opener, needless to say the fish wasn't very impressed!
I got 99 problems but a fish ain't one...
