South & North On The Niska Way. Report.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I certainly don't have the time to read all that, man you could write a book with just a few reports. LOL But the pictures are awesome as always.

I hope to get some good use of my new DSLR and maybe get some quality pictures this summer.

One day soon enough I'll get to visit some of that beautifull northern country.
Catch and release them all

Ever entertaining in the rich report, memorable tales and the eye candy pictures of assorted fishkins, 'Bunk.

Only thing missing from this report was Brenda!

Have you gone back in search of that Jaws-sized gar? I would have wet myself...

Love the trout pic's -- God, they're amazing looking.

W.

PS: keep those youngsters going out in the boat with you...even if they claim a mix of "fun and boredom"! Those times are priceless.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

1000 miles due north. In Ontario, on the coast of James Bay.

Bren's a busy busy woman studying away at her Masters. Would like to see her out more, but it'll come. The kiddies too, bored or not, they're off for the summer with me. Hope Summer works on her casting arms, she's got musky and bass to reel in. And Leah better learn to net.

Thanks again F-H'ers for the kind words and replies.

Moosebunk wrote: Epen I think tried the one day on the river to teach me a lesson in patience. My idea was spot hopping in hot pursuit of pike and walleye, while I think his was... to share some slow and peaceful time with a friend whom he sees little of, and catch some fish at our leisure as well.

Boy, was I dumb.

"C'mon old man! Let's go! Let's go!" I begged. Epen (Abel) and I had just shared some tea on the riverbank and maybe he had hoped to sneak in an afternoon siesta in the warm sun. ... Epen on his Indian time must belly laugh silently at the fiery Scotanuck who can't sit still and hurries even when he doesn't need to. The goal never to rest, always to go big and chase hard ti'll it happens.
Been there....

Wicked story as always from the internet's angler laureate.

Moose - appreciate the time you spend on these.
Do we like the reports? ... are you kidding?
Dam Straight - Bunk reports are incredible, and this one in particular, hit a home run in the top of the ninth...

Thanks
