What's your GOAL this year?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

#1. Live til next year
#2. Fish as much as possible
#3. Meet some new people fishing and maybe intoduce someone new to the sport. Think I will hit the Ottawa this Saturday and have 1 or 2 seats open if anybody wants to tag along. Send me a PM and we will work something out. I'll be launching at Petrie.

To feel good enough to be able to go fishing when I want to and not only when my body tells me that I can go.

A double digit walleye at Quinte would be good also.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

If you can't stand behind our troops,
Please feel free to stand in front of them!!!

A 40"+ pike....a carp bigger than 2lbs  ...a new PB laker over 15lbs...a new pb rainbow from my lake at 6lbs ( caught a 14lber in Port Hope one year )...get my son his first fish...and second fish...if possible the weekend grand slam of trout but that would require my first brown as well...and last but not least ( maybe most important ) my first musky over 24"....so not many goals this year
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

My goal is to introduce fishing to as many kids as I can both in my boat on on shore.

I have not caught a muskie in a few years now I would like to catch one.

Simply get on the water more. The spring has been pretty crazy busy for me with family activities; hockey, baseball, but I do see light at the end of the tunnel.

Cheers
and good fishing

Same as it is every year.
1) Catch a 50lb large mouth
2) Catch an 90lb pike
3) Reel in a chest of sunken treasure

Well winning the Toothy Critter is right up there, maybe with a fish good enough to make it into RJ's fish of the month club for the daily double.

Now if you get out with 24/7 to Pike Lake XXX and then run the tourney out of there I could maybe hit the trifecta. :P

Honestly I hope to just become more consistent at landing fish I'm targeting. (Trout and Musky)

More time out with my dad and the kids through the summer, more time on these new waters around home. Enjoy the two big trips north with friends. Hopefully get a chance to fish with Jim, and Marc as well. Catch new PB basseses, walleye and muskie and a first open water salmon would be alright too.

But right now, my goal is to fix a leaky pipe, change the blades on the riding mower, finish painting the WarCanoe, find out what's up with the generator, take the kids to Ju-Jitsu, email Advanced about my trout mount, sort some gear for a muskie fish tomorrow and finish this reply to go have some lunch. :D
