night fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Be safe. Bring lots of flashlights for removing hooks, etc.
For walleye, find edges (e.g. weeds to rocks) or drop offs during day time. Either troll slowly or cast along these breaks at night. Depending on the depth original rapalas, shad raps, rogues, wally divers will all work. Don't be afraid to use BIG lures.
Good luck!

Where are you going? Do you know the average depth of the body of water?

we are going to Lake Temagami. I don't know the average depth but it's deep enough to have Lake Trout in it. There are no largemouth bass so we would be going for the smallies.
