Does Bubble Gum Color Work
Does Bubble Gum Color Work
I keep hearing about the success of bubble gum Senko (Yamamoto) worms.
I rig these things wacky and texas style. I use light colors for sunny days and go darker as I loose sunlight.
Has anyone had success with these?
What's your favorite colour?
Does anyone know where I can get O-rings for wacky worms rigging?

o-rings... CanTire, HDepot, Rona, Lowe's... you get the idea! Use two at a time so they form an X and the hook is perpendicular to the senko. If you use one, then the hook is parallel and I've found it's tougher for good hook sets. See my avatar...
Bubble gum... I've only seen one fish-caught on a bright pink colour... mind you, it was the only fish I saw caught that day (a nice largie at that)... so like everything else... there's probably a time and a place for it!
cheers,
tallpaul

I use to put 2 o-rings on also but then I tried with only one and didn't seem to make a whole lot of a diff. The hook coming out straight sure looked like it would make for a better hookset but it really didn't for me.
But I will not fish a senko wacky without an o-ring .

Awesome BeachBurger! Thank you!beachburger wrote:Using AS568 Oring sizes,
-010 or -011 for normal 5" senkos. I use -010 because it's a little tighter and perch can swipe the senko from an -011.
For the fatter senkos, use an -011 or -012.
For the skinny 4" senkos use a -008 or a -009.
HTH,

I am also wondering what sizes I should get for Apples on a treble for deer and mice from the pet shop for pike and musky.
Should I call Spense at LeBarron? I DO have the prerequisite Quebec plates!

Is it too soon? Should I have not said that?

...but seriously folks... try the veal. Wakka wakka wakka!
