Hi there! I am still new to fishhawk and I can't wait to do a report instead of ask a question, but.... I was just wondering if a pink lady diver (newer version) is worth a go if I was going for lakers deep in summer off of a kayak or a 12 ft aluminum boat?

Hello rawmanrockdog

Pink Lady will get you down 50 to 60 feet depending on how much line you have out and the weight of the line. You might also want to
try lead core line, tried and true method for years in many local lakes. Just recently had a downrigger malfunction and my buddy
Mike picked up a fat 8 lb Laker (check the blog) using lead core. It does work!!
