Friend bought a new bassboat, broke the first day out. Brought it in for repair and was told they weren't sure when they were going to touch it. They were told" you know we sold allot of boats this summer and we have to get them out the door" I brought my bassboat for repair when it was GG got the run around for 2 weeks" it's in the shop BS we're working on it tomorrow, last time I went! on the positive side they are not has bad as Hurst marina!

Has had it back FIVES times for the same problem .....

Just keeps getting the run around .....which seems par for the course at OBW

I personally don't care either way but my point is we have to be careful not to quickly jump to conclusions where we haven't considered both sdes. I'm sure this forum is not conducive for that but we should exercise some degree of fairness.

What kind of Ranger did your friend purchase BA? Not singling you out but for someone who's never had a boat serviced here you sure have a lot to say :shock:

But since i've never had a boat serviced at OBW.......I can't say anymore.. :wink:

How do you know i never had a boat seviced there.......Are you staying after closing and Peeking through the customer files... :shock: :shock:

bottom line is 99.9 % of mechanics are rip off artist weather its for cars,trucks,or boats! Just a way of life!

My opinion is OBW shouldn't have screwed up in the first place. Why do we always have to give retailers a second chance at making it right? Shouldn't they do it right the first time.

True customer service is getting tougher and tougher to find. With all the competition these days you'd think they would make a larger effort on giving good service....because in the end that's the only thing that seperates these retailers.
