What is your Tackle Box?
What is your Tackle Box?
So, I always had a small tackle box that got over-crowded with stuff. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Plano 7271 just to impress cprince when we go fishing

What tackle box you guys use, or will buy soon, or think is just perfect for your needs.
I like my box cause it has the special hangers for spinner baits and buzz baits. 2 small boxes for hooks, swivels, and sinkers. And it is not overly cumbersome. I never liked the "tray" boxes as the trays felt flimsy and with my box I can take a small box out if I want to fish light after work .. etc.
OK, I showed you mine, now show me yours!

I have the mid-sized BPS EXtreme "boat bag". It's about 14x14x28" in size (like a duffel bag). Inside I have 5 3700 Plano boxes (topwater, spinner/buzzbaits/cranks, jigs, trailers, stickbaits.).
I also just bought a Falcon hook/sinker specific box, it's just between the 3600 and 3700 sizes and organizes all of my hooks, weights, leaders, etc... perfectly.
I can also fit my lunch and my rain gear, extra line, knife, pliers, scent, and a multitool in the bag. Yeah my partner (I'm a non-boater) laughs each time, but hey it works and I catch the feeeesh.
(If required, I can drop 4 plano boxes into the plano bag I have in the basement, and its portable for shore fishing, etc.).

Thanks for the info guys. I fish from shore too. And this box is for my non-carp fishing. For carp I have a separate carryall.
In my new Plano 7271, I was able to fit all my soft plastics, spinnerbaits, a couple buzzbaits, hard plastics, hooks, sinkers, jigs, 4 line spools. Pliers too, a flashlight, gloves, knife..etc. I don't have that much stuff, but it was scattered in a small box and multiple plastic bags. I feel things are much more organized now.

I've tried it all and am finally settled on my latest system.
I picked up one of those BPS bags that holds 7 large Planos.
1-Cranks
2-Hooks,Weights,Title Shots,Terminal Tackle
3-FrogsnJigs
4-Tubes
5-Beavers and Creatures
6-Jerkbaits
7- Spinnerbaits
I also carry one of those small Plano bags full with additional plastics and back-ups for the ones that are already in the Planos.
Works like a charm for me.....

That's what I use too but there still isn't enough room for everything I carryCN wrote:This is what I use
One of the neatest things I have seen guys use for tackle is some small rubbermade containers (about shoebox size) and then pack those in a duffel bag. It's easy to see what you have in each box and you can put a surprising amount in each.
That was the actual reason I asked the question. To know your secret luresBass Addict wrote:One plastic tray that holds six White Big-o's

One plastic tray that holds four Black Buzz Baits
One plastic tray that holds two packs of 5'' Black Gulp sinking minnow
One plastic tray that holds 20 number #3 Gulp hooks
The rest I gave away...

One - Bass Pro Shops Extreme Qualifier 370 Tackle Bag
Two - Bass Pro Shops Extreme Qualifier 360 Tackle Bags or the equivalent there of, with a smaller plano tray added to each bag.
I just bought my wife the pink 360 one so that the tackle she uses is a bit more handy for her and i have more space.
For some reason i still don't have enough space...

Cardboard box!
The results speak for themselves!

Impressive Tlunge. I didn't expect a tackle box to improve my fishing skills
Just have kids in the house and thought better to have all fishing bits and pieces organized in one box.
