Hey guys,
I might be heading to Vancouver for a few days in a couple weeks.. I never fly fished out there before ... I would like to find a lake (or two) that I could hike to (get some exercise) and do a bit of fly fishing... If anyone can suggest anything, I'd appreciate it..
Thanks!
Akira
Vancouver area fly fishing?
Akira,
I have only fished the BC interior and the extreme east of BC in the Rockies. Here are links that might help with regards to opportunities near Vancouver itself.

Good luck!

Time's fun when you're having flies.
In eastern BC you can have your pick of rivers or lakes. You might want to check the links I posted in my previous message to see what info they can provide.
The place I have fished is called Mt. Assiniboine Lodge. They are focussed on hiking, but they have amazing stillwater fishing for big cutthroats and healthy sized rainbows. It's probably booked and it's a little pricey (great helicopter flight in and out!!!), but well worth it.
