prop repair?

Anybody have a rec. for a place that repairs or rebuilds props?
Dirty....mean....mighty unclean.

2 choices from what I know.
Marc Marine in Gatineau, or Laurentian Marine or others who send them out to Marc!819-773-1551

Valley Radiator in Beachburg will do prop work. I don't know at what point he will throw up his hands and say "I can't fix that". But, he does do some.
Fishing is a heritage we need to teach. Take a kid fishing! And take me too while you're at it.

The Prop Shop in Kingston does good work.. they are also the authorized service depot for Minn Kota

Rod Breaker we have weekly pic-ups for prop-repairs . They are done by Marc Marine in Gatineau . Just saves you the hassle of driving all the way there . Turnaround time is usually a week .

But then again Marc Marine is a few shops down from Technique Chasse et Peche so why waste a good oportunity to visit a fishing/hunting shop. :wink:

I have been very pleased with the work from Jim's Machine Shop in Arnprior. I have had two props and one skeg done by him. The props come back better than new. His set up is impressive and a nice gent to boot. Knows his bass fishing too.

There's no gain to me but I'm sure he would like to hear that he has an happy customer that won't hesitate to recommend him.

I hope your experience with him is as good as mine.
