If you were to put holes in the floor of an old pontoon boat and build a little shack on it and place it on the ice IS IT A BOAT OR A ICE HUT?

this would allow you to leave it on the ice an extra 2 weeks or even till thaw if it's a boat
I love golf it keeps thousands of unworthy off the water

I love the idea... just wonder how the 'toons would handle the ice pressure stress. Would they crack at all then sink in the spring? Is this what happens to some docks with the barrels underneath?

What is the law about leaving shacks on the ice? I didn't know there was a law. If there is a law... is it municipal? Provincial? Federal?

i wouldnt leave it in the water til freezeup, but it would pull easily across the ice,and if thaw came early would pull out easy too.
