What in your opinion is the best way to fish a senko in 30-40ft of fast water??? struggled out on Francis with the senko down deep!! and high winds!!not to mention BOAT TRAFFIC!!!LOL

Why not put a worm weight? Or get them custom made loaded with salt.

I dropshot wacky senkos on a qc lake in 20 fow, I imagine a heavier than usual weight should get you down there in the current.

For texas rigged, use a worm weight (bullet sinker).
For wacky rig, stick a finishing nail in both ends of the Senko.

I prefer to drag a bullet weighted senko rather than drop shot it weightless, but can do that as well.

Carolina rig, weight to match current,6-8 ft leader,aussie swivel with a bead ,and this helps with line twist,6-8 ft leader let's bait still act natural and do it's thing,if there is current on bottom bait will still flutter, if not will fall down behind sinker. With a slip sinker you can judge the current down deep and let the bait walk along ,as long as the sinker is holding bottom.

Personally in fast water I'd use a pegged weight on a t-rigged senko... your topic title said wacky so yes if I was going to fish "wacky" in those conditions it would be with a sinkworm.

I think Bucket is talking about the ones with the little screw-in stick attached to the weight...I think!

They would definitely get you down there better in deeper water or chop.

The heavier, weighted plastics available now are also an option. Even in the Senko & Yum Dinger style worm.
