My 27.435 lbs bag of bass! (higher res pics & video)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

My 27.435 lbs bag of bass! (higher res pics & video)

Post by bl8ant »

I'm guessing a bag gives the impression that they were all caught on the same day huh? Maybe by the same person or two people? Okay so it isn't a bag at all but it was a great year nevertheless.

In total 6 nickels made there way in to my boat this year and that is six more than last year. Although I realize there is a whole lot more to fishing than numbers, numbers translate well to internet posts so here they are.

This winter is going to be a long one for me but ice fishing should ease the pain a little.

Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

Nice way to sum up your year bl8ant!!

You had a heck of a year on the water and like 24/7's, I have been looking forward to your EOY report!

Thanks for sharing now and the whole year. Absolute clinic that you have been putting on all year.

Don't feel shy about the numbers either... I mean... say what you want but that is what most bass fishermen are looking for; The Almighty Nickle!

And you got that down!

Next year; Sixers!!

It's true, I enjoy and appreciate the crisp morning air, the sound of a loon echoing over a tranquil lake, the mirror like surface of the water on a calm day but I'll be dammed if the biggest smiles don't come when ya get that hog of a bass in the boat.

Safe and sound man with me targeting 'em! In all seriousness I didn't dedicate a whole lot of time pursuing them and when I did I wasn't all that successful. Learning better deep water tactics is on my list for next year.
A couple decent ones here but nothing nickel esque

It's a tough job but somebody has gotta do it eh? Was nice meeting you Ian, we have to head out for a day on the water.

Well you aren't alone man. Until this year I was 100% nickel free. I just found a couple good lakes and stuck to 'em.

A couple other nice buckets that didn't quite crack the nickel mark but why not post 'em.

Great Job!

I can already tell you I'll be bumping this post back up in February when I'm going through full withdrawl.

Thanks in advance.

An excellent montage to sum up a great season.

We weren't able to sync up for an outing this fall but we'll try again next season.

Those are fish worth re-running! Knocked my socks off again. You really got things down to a science this season, Bl8ant.

I think I might have missed this pic the 1st time. What a beautiful trout, and great smile on you Bl8ant! Very nice pic all across the board.
