35-45 cm of snow

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I hope it isn't snowing when you take me out on the trout opener in the spring.

Don't worry... I will leave the "Snow" tires from Bangladesh on the Impala until May!

Besides... Paul will still be busy pulling deer meat out of the grill of his car!

It's going to be a great year I think joco for the snowshoes. I can't wait to put on my new snowshoes to walk into a lake and be lucky enough to get some fish. There's nothing like being outside enjoying whatever mother earth can throw at me. :P MMMMM, I can taste the fish now.

Won't be long hawkers,

Raydar

The latest..........

'' DEPENDING '' on the temperature , we could either get rain , snow , freezing rain , sleet, light drizzle , wet snow , plain old dry snow etc etc

Its too bad the weather people can't predict the temperature 24 hours in advance :? :? :?

While I am not immune to rolling my eyes at "Updated" forecasts that invariably wreck my best laid plans... BUT...

It is the most thankless of professions that saves lives.

Police, firemen, cost guard, nurses, doctors, paramedics, soldiers... hell even some hockey prognosticators get singled out as heroes quite readily. Meteorologists saves lives probably more frequently than any one of them... other than Doctors I suppose... and they get nothing but grief.

I wouldn't want to be one.

Always the stick never the carrot from the public.

Never a calendar of Meteorologists... never a TV show... and that Will Ferrel movie was a travesty.

We never say a word when they are right on... but do we ever kvetch when they mess up.

Just a different perspective.

BA... I'll bet you have stripped a bolt at work from time to time, but you didn't have an audience ragging on you for it.

Dore - I'll bet you have let some sort of serial killer rapist into the country... but do we complain?

Me..? I have sheered my share of sheep incorrectly and had the other farm animals make fun of them until it grew back in... but the Scotsman said nothing when he came to visit on Saturday nights... (I don't think he even noticed...)

What was that about a Scotsman? :)

Ian (the Scotsman) MacLeod

-- remind me next time I see you that I've got a funny joke about a dude named MacLeod -- it never gets old.
