Awesome read RJ, never been to cuba but I am seriously thinking about it now. I've been deep sea fishing in the DR and Barbados and it wasn't what I expected, A few fish but basically an expensive boatride. That buffet made me instantly hungry. right on

I heard the Cubans have ate up those largies. Any recent reports from that lake and people are getting skunked. Mexico is the spot.

I like your run & gun day of shore fishing. You certainly have a wide choice of fish species to fish for in Cuba.
I somehow suspect that you are already working on how not to get School'd or is it spooled for next year
