Swede Bore Auger 8" Blades?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Swede Bore Auger 8" Blades?

Post by MTF »

Anyone know where I can pick up 8" replacement blades for a Swede-Bore hand auger or a place I can get them sharpend?

I have already checked out CDN tire, SAIL and the T.O. Bass Pro....only found 6" blades.

Need them for this weekend

Thanks,

Marc

Hmm. I guess Ct must be out of stock? I picked some up over the holidays from CT.

Perhaps go back to CT and get them to search in the computer to see if any other stores have them.

I second that! CT in Hull had them last week. May want to try and give them a call. I'm sure closer ones might have them too.

Just checked Bits and Baits and it looks like Gord carries them.

Give him a call to see if he has any in stock.

I get mine sharpened here:
http://sharpeningshoppe.com/
They are on Catherine street and I think they charged me $6.00 the last time. They are better than new blades once sharpened.

I have the same auger and got new blades at WalMart. Or should I say, my wife got them for me. I love when she feeds my addiction :D As far as sharpening, she also got me a cool hand sharpener that makes it a lot easier. It is made by Lazer.
