This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Tell me you are going to be there Grant!!! I need some Hab fans to populate the table!

Local boy would also be helpful should we have to get creative in our fishing approach up there!!

I am a Hab's fan and I'll be there in the morning, see you at the restaurant at around 8:00am.
I will have to stop and pick up a Que. Lic. though after the restaurant.

Good luck tomorrow guys . I just got off the phone with a good bud who has a cottage on bay Davis for a long time . He tells me that there is 12''on the main lake and figures Baie Mckenzie to have 16+ so there shouldn't be a problem driving as snow depths aren't too bad . He has ice fished for whitefish/gr??? in the past and first thing he told me when I mentioned about your trip was to fish rock outcroppings off that point in quite shallow water , like real shallow 15ft or less . He's a big fan of champs on 31 mile year round . He also told me they would drop crushed egg shells down the holes so they could watch the fish swim by . Can't beat that for for free . lol
bottom line advice from a local . fish shallow . worth trying . Cheers .
