Found!!!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Caught the trout in 27 fow on muskrat lake,6lb test. Took about 10 mins to get her out of the hole. Some very exciting runs (and tense moments) Actually my first laker on this lake!!! which makes it even sweeter. Did not weigh it but I would guess 6-8 lbs and taste........ delicious :D :D :D
Picture taken at my cottage on the lake.

Thanks C5. Put the tracks on myself, first time took about 2.5 hrs, now takes about 1.5 hrs. Bought them on special fall 2009 for 3400 plus taxes. Mysnowmobile was getting old and I only used it for ice fishing as my trail days are in the past now, so I decided to make my atv a year rounder. Have not been stuck yet and don't be in a hurry to get anywhere. Top speed about 70 km/hr downhill on a packed trail. These are the Kimpex Trek 2 and i can drive it between the wheel wells on my truck!!!

Where did you get them and what size of ATV is it on? After seeing a set of them in action this past weekend I am very intrigued.

Hi Beachburger, I bought the tracks c/w the proper install kit, at the Honda dealership on Hunt Club Rd. I am running them on a Yamaha 450 Kodiak. Love them and would never go back to a snowmobile unless I was in a hurry to get somewhere.

Thanks HB. I bought my TRX420 at the same dealer and we picked up a 450 Kodiak for my wife back in the fall. I remain intrigued.....

Beachburger, wanna split on the cost of a set of tracks? And so that you don't think I am trying to take advantage of the situation, you can have them for 8 months of the year, I will take them for November, December, January, February. :D
