Spring "Woes" & "Whoas" Fishing Report.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Moosebunk,
You write as though you are a wise veteran who has lived a hundred lives. I was quite surprised to see your young bearded face without even a hint of grey.
I really enjoyed your recollection of fishing so far this season and as stressful as your past trials with work and family have been, it is certainly offset by the lucidity gained when you can shut your brain off of the stress and focus on the skillful pursuit of that elusive fish "Walter" (on golden pond reference for you youngins')
Thanks again for the inspiration. And if you are ever parched I would enjoy having a pint with you. My treat!

Next time we can try to find a day without gale force winds! Only time in my life I fished without a hat because I could not keep it on. Guess I had best get a Tilley with a chin-strap!

Boat doing 360's around it's anchor. Casting to 10:00 o'clock and watching the lure land behind ya at 4:00. That was a gusty one.

Here's you with a tilley Doug. You'd have that, I'll be your grandpa and weed dealer look.

Fish because you love to fish first, bud. That's keeping it real.

Have my moments man. Thank you for your feedback, offer and kind words.

It was all April's fault Len. Two years in a row April has sucked... and a wee bit of May too. Fishing was outstanding both years though. Summer line-up is going to take any of life's bumps and bruises away. :D

Too busy fishing Steve.

You know, always liked just reporting online. Enough good people seem to appreciate that too. And even if they didn't, I'd still probably do it mostly because I enjoy it as part of my entire fishing process.

Jay... your muskie was "Wwwhhhoooaaa," this here is just a bunch of "whoas" by comparison.

Thanks again all. Best of luck with the summer season.

I did get me one of those straw hats with a chin-tie, but at high speed it threatens to lift me right out of the boat...........

More of a Bubba look than Gramps the Weed Dealer though..............

That was an opening week largemouth, probably three pounds or so, maybe a bit heavier...............
