So flipping a jig up under some brush for a possible 5-6lber beats doing basically the same thing for a possible 50lb red?

Absolutely .... it's a no brainer .... If I'm flipping for a possible 5-6lber Bass, I'm possibly winning $1,000
Interesting...so pay $2500 to join a bass league to possibly win $1,000....
or
Pay $20 to join a Redfish league and possibly win $8500 or more....

Hey!
Whenever I go down south why not pay the $20 and have at it?!?
I can then use my remaining $2,480 (I didn't use on entry fees) to buy more Dobyn's!

You Reply LOOK AT THIS TOURNAMENT 24 HOURS AWAY WHERE YOU NEED TO FIRST GET THERE THEN PAY FOR A LICENSE AND EQUIP YOURSELF.
My reply to that.. Well :

Who cares if you're targeting 500 lb goliath grouper or dinky sunfish, what matters is that YOU are having fun doing it!
Now quit bickering like a bunch of old blue hairs.
1 day left until I go fishing for something...
I got 99 problems but a fish ain't one...

Sorry Shawn
You asked where else could you fish bass.
I stated Georgia State.
It then got onto redfish tournies (which I'd have to say would be a blast)
I can also tell you from being in Florida, Georgia and SC a lot that I see more of a focus on Redfish tournies than I do bass.
Around the Glades and Chobee I am sure bassing becomes more popular but from Jax to NSB it all about the reds!
