Yeah, just keep an eye on it. The two warning signs I'd be looking for are any streaks from if it gets wet and water drips down leaving dark spots (that would be the copper leeching out and turning black), the other would be any aluminum forming white powder.

Odds are, since everything looks accessible, that you can just keep an eye on it and just wipe it the area down and avoid problems for ages.

Anyway back to the original topic. What I'm looking forward to trying this summer?

I picked up a couple of Curados at Sail a couple months ago, I'm getting a nice recliner to replace my captain's seat with, and I'll be keeping my boat at one of the marinas on the Big Rideau in a covered slip. Looking forward to all of that. New toys, making my boat more comfortable and not having to tow the boat, launch the boat, retrieve the boat, tow it back home...

....just drive out to the lake, carry a couple things onto the boat then go.

Funny but when I read this title the last thing I think about is what gear I'm looking forward to trying. Instead, it's the different trips, lakes and species that I've been researching or considering over the winter, and want to get out and fish this year.
