looking for a good Transom

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

looking for a good Transom

Post by Jongy »

I have a Crestliner Kodiak 16 footer with a 50 HP Mercury that has a clip that you put your motor on in transit. I wrote to Mercury, they recommended that I get Swivel-eze made by Attwood and not use that lever that comes with the motor. Does anyone know where I can get this locally? Or are there comments on the one that was recommended to me

Your closest marina will likely have a transom saver in stock, if not they will be able to order you one. As for buying one brand over another, I wouldn't worry about it to much. There all pretty much the same. I just picked one up at Arnprior Sportland and they had a bunch more on the shelf if your ever out that way. Jon
