For Fun: Things to always have on a boat.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

One thing I started carrying outside the usual is one of those tennis racket type bug zappers. Works great....

Fish handling glove and a portable radio. Except for pristine fishing spots, I enjoy tunes in the boat or on the bank.

That's something I'm missing, a radio/mp3 player.. I get complaints all the time when I bring people fishing, No music??

When the conditions are right and you're the first person on the water, breaking that calm sleek glass and natures sounds is music for the soul. :)

Shawn,

There is no radio in my boat either. I am there to fish not to rock out. Some people need music to have a good time. I just find it distracting and I enjoy fishing enough that music is not required.
