A high thrust model will have a higher gear ratio and a different prop. There designed for bigger boats like pontoon boats that need a little more push to get going and that aren't looking to go quick. I know yours is a Honda but this Yamaha website might be able to explain it better the me. I'm sure if you call a Honda dealer with your serial number they could tell you what model you have. Jon.

ok so out with the other buddy today we hit 15mph
I didn't get a chance to go solo, because the launch was super busy, but doing 25km/h, I'll be happy and leave it at that
I will consider a different prop down the line I think, it can't hurt
