Well apparently my fishing buddy is embarrassed to admit he fishes with me on here. Either because I'm a chick or perhaps he thinks I'm bad luck

So I won't be able to participate unless someone needs a partner.

Enter me in the adult category (though I'll be in Algonquin Park, which is a good 3.5 hrs away... but.. BUT... We're going north, not south, so there's no discernible advantage.

My 2.5 yr old will enter the kids category. He'll be fishing White Lake.

Pete, can I suggest you post all the most up-to-date rules in your original post, that way people don't have to search the thread for it?

I see the rules are posted so I might be to late but I think it would be better to have unlimited upgrades like tip-up suggested. I think it would keep the post active with new pics coming in and would eliminate sand-bagging. You know everyone is gonna keep there best fish till sept 30 if they have used up 2 of there upgrades early in the month. I think it would be awesome to see a leaderboard post that is changing daily with new fish. It would really get guys watching it closely.

Nope not embarrassed at all!! Just Had a really rough night at work and bad sleep today due to noisy neighbors using a chainsaw to take down there deck Wanted to read the rules in detail before committing and also process them when not exhausted <-------limited brain processing power when I have sleep so when I have no sleep well its not so good ;P I am in if you still need a partner...

Ok I think we have enough people who like the unlimited culling and I too like the idea of having an ever evolving leader board and pics coming in. So it is done. Unlimited culls over the month. Also I want to make note that a team formatt is just a formality and does not reflect the leader board as that is done by individual basis so you are not needing a partner just thought it would again bring out the comradere in the board if say Mav and Star actually catch a fish and beat out the Bassassins!! So you can fish on your own for this.

I will also be getting a rules only page that hopefully can get stickied somewhere so that way people do not need to read through pages of info and fun rivalry nagging.

The prizes I am being offered for this event are getting to be pretty good just so everyone knows and I have had an organization offer to give every child that participates a combo rod and reel package. Again that is every child not just the top three in each! That is an absolute amazing offer and I thank them for everything they are doing to help this event out. Top class organization for sure.
