Muskrat lake info

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The driving is pretty crappy and depending on what you're driving, and on what type of tire, you very likely will get stuck. :(

There is a road plowed, and if you stick to that then walk out the rest of the way, you'd be okay.

I was there Sun up till down Sat and .... badaboom.. nuthin.. but given that I have an incredible skunk record to uphold, I would never base a 'bite' report on what I catch....But I have friends who were there Friday, Sat, Sun and one even on Monday. The bite's been pretty ... tough. The odd nice sized laker, but nothing much else. Oh I lied... one friend had a muskrat come visit for a gulp of fresh air once in a while, but nothing visited the hole that had scales...
