Fishing trip any advice?
Just wondering was planning a fishing trip have $1600 to spend. Undecided if want to head south and go after some tarpon or tuna's or spend it up northern ontario, Manitoba or B.C. And do multiple species... Whether it be a fly in or driving 9 hours.... Wanted to have an experience to remember any advice? Or services to use?

If you have never gone south and fished in tropical waters then you must do that. If you're going solo and can do last minute there are some really great deals available.

Going south and targeting a different species Every day would be my choice.
Fishing salt you can target more then northern Canada.
Although if it's a group thing. My choice would be fly in fish northern Canada.

1600 wont get you a sniff to travel to salt fishing. Flight alone could take up half that budget.
Northen Fly-in would likely be your best bet but 1600 won't get you to the best places.

Yah I realize it won't get me the best places but figure if I have to be out of pocket some money to go somewhere I probably wouldn't go very often I can do that.
