It has been a while since I posted a report, so here goes .....
Last weekend, I made a trip up to my Uncle's cottage (Lac Cayamant).
I tried a bit of fishing from the dock on Saturday afternoon, but didn't catch anything.

So after supper we decided to head out in the boat.
We left about 7:00 pm and headed over to a weed bed.
The water level is still a bit higher that the past few years.
After a few minutes, my uncle Tim gets the Skunk off .... Fish on!!
This was the first one in the boat (caught on a worm)

He boats 2 fish .... and then it's my turn!
I tried a few different lures - first using a spinner bait, then a few different plastics (beavertail, creature bait, craw, and then finally a senko).
I should have went right to the senko in the first place ....because this is the result!

After a few of the cottagers came down for a swim, we decided it was time to head over to another spot.
Across the lake we go ...
This little guys must have been hungry, because he had ALL the hooks from the White Big-O in his mouth

After a while in this area with no more bites, off we went, heading up the lake to find another spot.
With the sun starting to go down behind the mountains

...... we headed over to the other side of the lake and fish the shoreline all the way back to the cottage.

In all, we fished 3 different locations and shorelines and we managed to boat 7 Largies.
We were off the lake at 9:30pm. We fished from the dock for about 15 minutes more, but the bugs were biting, it was getting too dark (and the drinks were calling).
Thanks for reading! .... Until the next report!
Cheers!
