
Well, the Torpedo has grown up. He's got a driver's license now and an old Chevy pick-up, as well as a circa 1960-something, blue tinny that he puts on the water frequently...except when he convinces us to lend him the Stratos.

His fishing prowess has continued to develop over the years; and although he and I duked it out pretty good last summer, he has clearly surpassed my skill level this year. Here are some photo's of the kid with an assortment of his catches.












Ty turns 18 next month, and as I look back on all those years of parenting him, I know there were plenty of screw-ups on my part. BUT, I can confidently say that I "done good" when I passed along the gift of fishing to my son, as it was passed on to me by my dad many years ago. He'll have that gift from me for the rest of his life, and I hope one day (not TOO soon
