Lower Opikinimika Lake

Post by Brooksy »

I am wondering if anybody has fished Lower Opikinimika Lake near Shining Tree Ontario. I am heading there shortly and have never fished this body of water before. Any advice would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks in advance,

You'll find them in the typical spots at this time of year. Try the wind swept points and use your fish finder to find some underwater shoals. Your typical tea stained water. Chartreuse jigs and spinner rig/bottom bouncer combos will get you some nice walleye. Bring your own minnow trap if possible and feed them bait. Mitch
