Trying to find the true story,,, we baught are land there during the 74 flooding

And it was there,,plus my father was going there in the 50 ,s andwas already there,,,use to have many usa people going up there actualy all are nabers were all americans all of them in the 70/80. Now most all gone. But still are next two are california imagine they come twomweek a year frome california,,,for the past min 50 years and still guive yhe cottage to familly meber as year past by so cool.

One guy was flyfishing for what ? I wont get into this
One lady was in ghe lake in ghe water up to her belly button,,,going fora swim not sure .!
Being at 2,0 km frome my front door. Love it.
Not sure wen it did,,,wen this happen usely its a huge sign.

I should be paddling it this week To bad crappies is not its best features!!

He walk on it today. Only about a 2 feet on shore is broken. Many deers walking on ice today also.

So we are sunday night it open friday morning. Thats only 4 days aprox. Trully dont think so. Anyway not for roddick

Well could be surprising how fast it goes when it breaks of from shore. I've seen it next day sometimes, been a pretty weird spring so far.

Joco I was just talking to my bud Hacker and he says thanks for the info. He's going up anyway of course. I found out exactly where his cottage is. It's in the bay around the big point to the west of the chute. Fairly steep shoreline he built on. If he goes up high behind the camp he can look northeast and see the chute otherwise he has to travel around the point to see it. Anyway, he has a small creek coming through his lot so he'll have no problem with open water off his dock.
So I was thinking of Rodddick and out of the blue a file opened and I remembered being told what the best fishing strategy was to get nice Pickerel on that lake. It's funny how we remember the important stuff sometimes lol. Let's just say it generally involves an overnight stay. Amazingly, a couple of other subfiles opened too after I thought about it more, so shoot me a pm, but being local you probably already know...

Still plenty of ice on roddick as well, was talking to our neighbors from across the bay today and getting there but still lots to go and by what he was saying water is going to be at their highest this year as he's already pumping out water from basements from water being so high.. So if you have a cottage on roddick lake low on the water or close to it better go check it and make sure u don't have water in their..

Yep jul,,father was walking on ice yesterday,,so still a lot,,but it can happen fast,,,
We did not had a true cold winter so there was a bit less anyway.

Thats is why theres so many species in the lake thatnwas not there before,,,gatineau was dumping in themlake insted of the lake going out,,,,, If you no maniwaki and ever been to the arena,,,only the roof was out of water,,kind of!

Lol hope the rv are water tight cause they'll become house boats pretty soon.. lol, yeah I wasent around in 74 as I wasent born yet and my parents weren't on the lake till late 80's early 90's.. but yeah that to bad and I've been alot in maniwaki and I can just Imagen with that much water, wow what a devastation for sure.. hope their won't be to much damage on the lake though. Never fun to see people loosing or having such much damage cause of it..
