I generally ice fish with a small pop up (or nothing at all if the weather permits) and I tow my stuff out on a sled. Since I intend to start this Friday and having been out of commission for a while, I started my gear prep all at once. Everything from clothes to heat source and don't forget the tackle.

Holy Crap! I am moderately confident that an American Navy Seal does less gear prep on a combat mission than your average "free-range" Ice fisherman!!!!!

Yes it seems we always over think the items we pack, unless we need them.
