Anyone ice fish the marten river north of north bay for lake trout?

I lived just north of there for a few years and fished through the area. It see a lot of fishing pressure in summer but not that much in winter. Most people that head up are snowmobiling. If you can find the walleye you usually stay on them, but finding them is the trick. Marion Lake is also not bad for Walleye. Mostly jigging tipped with large shiners. Hunt them down with a flasher and then stay on them. Get yourself a map of the area and study it before you head up, look for shoals, drop off areas where bait fish will be holding out along weed beds.
