Anyways, just wanted to share a few cool days we've had guiding aboard the Lund.
Being able to guide every species in Eastern Ontario keeps it fresh for me, always something different.
My phone rang one Friday night with a group wanting to get out on Sunday afternoon. I was jammed and originally said no. The fella pleaded a little bit and once he told me who it was I relented. It was the crew from La Machine. Pretty cool guys and most had never been to Canada before. We spent 4 hours on the Ottawa and kept rods bent including the biggest Walleye I've seen from the river in a long time!
This week was two great days. First was a Muskie trip with some FH readers over the years. The 50/50 Gar and Musky day was what sold them on booking with me. Well we did another 50/50 but no Gar. Incredible 30 minutes that I'll never forget.
What a high!
Next day I had a booking with another FH'er. Some nice Gar graced us.
Looking forward to filling the calendar for Fall this week!
