Hi, are there any ice fishing "shanty towns" on Bob's Lake and/or recommended spots to try some hard water fishing (for pickeral and crappie). I am not sure if the ice is safe enough to take the truck out, so I would like a spot that many use as a launching point and I can stick to the "road".
I am curious to fish near Bird Island as that has always produced good results in the summer time.
Any advice or information would be appreciated - heading out in the morning.
Thank You!
