There are two rites of spring for me, or at least two signs that spring is around the corner. The first is the spring boat show at the EY centre which for obvious reasons I am unable to attend. The second coincides with the boat show, and is the reason I can't attend, and that is the annual Paddletales Wing Ding Spring Sale Thing. These two paired on the same weekend, February 21 to 24 (yes we are open Sunday that weekend) is the trigger to go from the winter doldrums to the hope of spring.
We'll feed you chicken (it's really really good) along with veggies and chips and cold drinks. We'll have a bunch of new stuff on the walls and lots of specials too. More on that later. Those that have come out to our in-store doos will tell you that the fellowship from these are second to none as well.
So...mark your calendars and plan to at least head out to Paddletales. We'll see you then.

Re: Rites of spring
I looking forward to dropping in for a little comradery and oh yes a piece or two of chicken!
Special Thanks to all my valued sponsors and my darling wife for all their support!
Re: Rites of spring
Can't wait! see you there. Anyone wondering if it's worth the drive out - the answer is YES. I'll agree the chicken is plus for sure... but the advise from experts on hand and information on products and techniques etc etc etc is by far something you shouldn't miss. The deals and specials are also very good.

Re: Rites of spring
Picked up a HUGE order at the border yesterday. We have about 80% of it inventoried, and everything will be full and ship shape for next weekend. I'll try to post a list of what's new. Lots of specials too. We're really looking forward to it.
