flooding

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Went to Cardinal ramp past Saturday to see if it's open. Water at top of ramp. Surprised town hasn't put fencing up again as last year. Be prepared to not have access to ramp if planning trip there for opening this coming Saturday.

Its been broadcast for weeks that the only boats allowed on the river are emergency vessels. They don't want the wake from boaters damaging or splashing over protective barriers. It also would be pretty stupid right now.

Lunker Larry. The river that boating has been banned on is the Ottawa, with good reason. The river that is being talked about here is the St Lawrence, where the levels are not a problem.
