Fishless in the Kawarthas

All,

I have a cottage on Sturgeon Lake for the last 11 years. Besides catching a 4 pound small mouth of my dock (fluke), I am fishless. I have tried everything, but not quite sure where the hotspots are. I now have my wife and my dad in on it as we are on a mission. Can anyone help me out as I would really like to show my 5 year old son what a big fish is?
