My buddy and I decided to try a lake just down the road from my home lake for a change of pace...had an awesome day slamming Smallies. Over 2 dozen to hand with 7 over 20 inches...nothing under 17. A couple of bonus Splake too.
All on the dropshot with minnow imitations (Z-Man Jerk Shads in Smelt colour were hot) in 25 to 40 fow. We found them stacked at the tip of points extending into the main basin dropping into 60 fow +.
Some of you may also remember my other fishing partner...my pointer Zoe taking a holiday from finding me Grouse this autumn.
