This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Quinte, Quinte, Quinte..All aboooooard!!!

Post by Canadian Bacon »

Ok Ladies and Gentleman. Quinte is less than a month away!! :P
By the miracle of all miracles there is still many beds open!! :? This trip is a must not miss. For those who have not been on any of our trips before and for the new people on the board...There is a reason we have so many repeat people for our trips. Simply put they are a blast!!!!!! :D I for one have never had better fishing trips than with Hawk Talkers..and I have been on many! The company is second to none..the campfire stories can bring tears to your eyes…the friendly competition and Ribbing..(Sorry Jazman), the food..the atmosphere. You can’t beat it!!!!! Oh ..Oh yeah and you can go fishing too!!
I love to see all the people I have met…again and again…..but one of the most rewarding things for these trips is when there are people I have never met before joining the party…as all Hawk-Talkers do, I love meeting new people and making new fishin’ buddies!! If it wasn’t for these trips I would have never caught that big Gar….I met Markus at Muskrat..no Muskrat trip…It may not have happened!
So join in on the fun….and join us at The Bay of Quinte!!!!!! It’s a trip you’ll tell your grand kids about!! :) 8) 8)

OH AND BY THE WAY….I HAVE ADDED ANOTHER MEAL..SO…… :P
Supper Friday
Breakfast, Lunch and Supper Saturday
Breakfast and Lunch Sunday.
You have an option for lunch..either a cooked lunch back at the Lodge or they will pack you a bag lunch for the Water!!

For those who have not paid in full the outstanding balance is due!! Please contact Fish-Hawk to complete your payment. Thank you!!

Here is a list of people making the trip so far.

Agreed how can so many people be wrong ... Everyone has a great time and there's always new stories to be told. The fishing should be better this time but to be honest the fishing is secondary to meeting up with some of the best fishing pals you'll ever meet.

I'm hoping to see a few 10lb+ eyes caught and i'm sure a few pike and bass will be had by those who fish the bays... I've reserved a special area on the dock for jazman to show us all how to catch monster perch... hey don't laugh i think quite a few of us had a cast or 3 at muskrat for perch.

Roll on october.. i need my 5 walleye to keep Team marcus i mean 4 on the ropes

Big-o!!! Stop making it sound so appealing!!! Uuugh its right in the middle of my midterms (3 the week after Quinte) and one essay due, right after Quinte! Plus I'm broke..... But that I can move around, its only a visa anyways.... but I really don't think its a good idea to take a weekend off right during midterm week.

No one wants her to come more than I do!! Sorry to everyone I have fished with....She is the best fishing partner I have ever had!!
I am pretty sure if she could fit it in she would...she know's what she is missing!! Sometimes responsiblity comes first. Really nice to see Snag has her priorities straight!! Unfortunate for me and the rest of the gang..but you gotta do what you gotta do....

study

Post by bts »

Looking forward to another Fishhawk get together.

Snag, I would think there would be lots of time to study while trolling. Then at the nightly meetings as in past trips the wealth of knowledge could be an awesome help to your studies

I can't wait for the trip!
Snag-- there's always time to study :D ... I've crammed for midterms with a shotgun across my lap in a duck blind, and written essays while on a deer watch.
But we all understand how much a 15 pound walleye could be a distraction to studying...

Nice try at a save CB. Wish I could squeeze it in but Im broke too. I will save my bottle returns for the summer bass trip. I would like to tell all on the fence if you can you should go. I was at Caigers with no long pants in early winter weather (well late fall) wind like in the wizard of oz and no fish and I have never had more fun fishing this goes directly to the quality of the people I had never met and drove 5 hrs to fish with. If you go ask Fishhawk about the wacky humpin minnow.
