Bassin for Bucks - borrow a GPS?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bassin for Bucks - borrow a GPS?

Post by M.T. Livewell »

Ok, this is almost as pathetic of a request as Bacon looking to borrow someone's boat, however ...

One of our secret holes just happens to be in a location that is very hard to line up against shore structure. So, we often find ourselves drifting and trolling till we bump into the spot.

So, if anyone has a spare GPS that will be in the area and wouldn't mind lending, it would be much appreciated. Can't afford to pay, but would be glad to leave the XYs as payment.

A long shot, but figure it's worth a try.

thanks

We have a volunteer. Thanks ... and you know who you are (identities kept anonymous to protect the innocent).

Don, appreciate the offer. Sounds like you and I have spent more than our fair share of time eliminating water.

Good luck tomorrow.

MT once you find the spot through a marker over. This would mark the spot for you. Even with a GPS you will spend lots of time looking at the screen and not fishing.

Cheers'...and good luck.

That's for sure Eye-tracker!!!!
I was out on Mississippi last weekend and meant to bring my marker but forgot. Was it ever frustrating trying to stay on or near spots, even more so when there is a wind.
