Great drama Fishhawk, thats the kind of stuff that should be on TV. Made me feel like I was there in the boat too, except I'm warm and dry.

FH / RJ,

Great story and that was an awesome fish. The "gesture" was our acceptance of defeat. And yes.... we were grinning as it was delivered. It's all part of the camaraderie.

Till next year....

Wow. Great report guys! And again, congratulations.

I did notice that Tim Carmicheal and Sean Saley took 3 first place finishes on the 3 different hours. A sweet $1200 payout for them.

I hope I can participate in this event next year. It sounds like its cursed with poor weather, but I love the format!

Fishhawk,

I have to say I sure enjoy reading the FishHawk show episodes that you put together. Congrats again on the big fish RJ - and that rain shot had me remembering the 2 gallons imperial that had found their way into my 'waterproof' boots by that point of the day. Wouldnt be fishing if everything went according to plan.

Great writing, almost makes me feel like I was in the boat with you. It is a fun format because you need one good fish all day to win some money so even when the waves are crashing and the rain is beating down on you, you still have a chance!!!
