WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE QUINTE TRIP

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I think the whole trip was great! But I really enjoyed the time spent in the lodge meeting and talking with everyone. Hope everyone had as great a time as I did. :D

Other than the obvious, meeting more great new faces it was being on the water, hands down.....other than in my inlaws borrowed 12 footer, haven't done that much this year!

Thank goodness you don't need a boat on the ice :!:

I agree with WIG, on the water for sure. Like the time we were knee deep in water in the boat, waves crashing all over us wind whipping the boat everywhere, tackleboxes floating, plannerboards in the prop and nothing but laughs and giggles from Markus, WIG, and I. Plus the high fives while netting trophy Eyes every pass. The photos of our boat by Banjo pretty much says it all. Great walleye weather.

Mine was also the time I gotto spend on the water with Wig and MM. Also, to have a warm dry body to snuggle with after a cold day on the bay. :)

Fishforfun tried the same thing with Turkeyman, but no luck!

Glad I didn't try it with Bacon he was a boxer at one time! Seriously though reading the threads I'm surprised at how many of us were newbies, you never would have known it when you walked into the lodge the camraderie was great! When Hoss and Turkey Man got telling stories Sat. night I was doubled up, good people sharing good times. Memories for life, that's fishing!

Definitely meeting everyone and running into town with Bacon and RUK on Sat, telling stories at night. Man, Bacon has really done some amazing things, the Rodeo Story was priceless. What a great bunch of people.

Oh yeah watching Hoss collect his prize for the big fish!!!

for me...

For me it was my first big walleye.... you guys collectively gave this to me.... might I note that FH has also directly or indirectly put me into my largest Pike, SM Bass, LM Bass, Crappie, Carp and perch over the years.....

Secondly, Each of these events leads to an "awards ceremony" on Sat night. I really enjoy this time...You look around the room which is filled with maintenance managers, data architects and every other diverse occupation you can think of....and you have to note the smiles.

I was in the corner of the room, watching you all and everyone was laughing and smiling.... pure fun all around the room..

My 3rd favourite moment was that great poker game late on Saturday night.... too bad you had to crash early Turkeyman
