Fishing club meeting ideas

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing club meeting ideas

Post by Brooksy »

Morning guys!

Does anyone have any suggestions for things to do at a monthly fishing club meeting to keep the guys amused for an hour or so? Guest speakers are great but eventually you use up your resources from time to time.

Thanks in advance,

Brooksy

Might I recommend "The Water's Stiff and I can't go Bass Fishing" Club.

It is a weekly meeting that Ed hosts at Paddletales (check out the Paddletales Forum). If you cannot commit to every week, you could assemble your group for a monthly pilgrimage.

You are bound to run into a few hawk-talkers, and you will drool at the walls and racks of tackle there.
You couldn't ask for a better host and meet a better group of guys.

Or plan B, you could rent a porn and have the boys over for a few beers.

May I recomend STRIPPERS, they will keep the guys entertained for at least an hour. But if that was to happen I would not be allowed to attend.

Seriously though may be you want to view a fishing video from one of the top pros out there once and a while. I am sure that you could find plenty of videos in your group.[/b]

So true Slushy. Porn will usually get ya a solid 5 to 10 minutes though. Then a nap. And then the food.

So when's the next meeting? :D

I like M.T.'s idea of meeting at " The Water's Stiff and I can't go Bass Fishing" Club at Paddletales thursday night. I have learned so much there over the years and Ed is a great host.
Other ideas that were mentioned are weekly fish'n videos at alternating houses and flipping(Bass Stalker idea) demos.
Any other ideas, because I can't go to the strippers    .
